Outdoor Living

Pool decks, patios, pergolas, and outdoor kitchens.

The backyard designed as one space — deck, cover, kitchen, fire feature, fence — instead of a slab, a grill, and some grass.

Built for Texas sun, soil, and storms.

We design and build the yard as a whole: travertine, paver, and concrete pool decks and patios; pergolas and covered patios tied into the house correctly; outdoor kitchens and fireplaces in brick and stone; cedar fences on steel posts; and the drainage and grading that keeps all of it dry. Our crew does the hardscape, carpentry, and masonry; licensed trades handle gas and electrical; pool shells and equipment go to a licensed pool builder under our contract.

Questions

Travertine stays cooler underfoot and looks higher-end; concrete costs less and goes faster. We bring samples to the estimate.

Usually yes for anything attached to the house or with a roof; freestanding pergolas vary by city. We check before we price.

Steel. Wood posts rot at grade in DFW soil; galvanized steel in concrete is the difference between a 7-year fence and a 20-year fence.

We coordinate a licensed pool builder for the shell, plaster, and equipment, and our crew builds the deck, coping, and everything around it — one quote, one schedule.
